  1. Bloggers,

One question I would ask the author would be why she made the first part of the last chapter kind of like the beginning of the book when they are washing dishes? from mm0104

  2. dear bloggers,
I would rate the book a 7 because it was good because it had differant parts I liked but it also parts that were slow and I didn't like so much. I thought most of the book was good but some parts were not so good.

  4. Bloggers,
The end of the book to me was good I think I could answer the question on the back of the book cause Ida and her family were almost perfect again. I also though it was also nice when Ida told her dad that the earth takes care of us. Because Ida loves nature and I think that is why she loves it so much now. What do you think? 5. dear bloggers,
My response to the end of this book is that I think it tells a lesson, and I think that lesson is that you should never take your problems out on someone else. You should also say sorry if you hurt someone. I think the book was O.K.

  6. jf,
I think you are right that if something goes wrong you should not blame other people. I also think it is wrong that she was hiding from her other friends that she was being nice to Ronnie. Racing and that they were playing games him don't you think so to? Even though she was being a nice person by helping him It was almost like she didn't want to in a away Talk to you later. from mm0104

  7. dear mm0104,
I agree with you when you say that the beginning of the last chapter is like the beginning of the book because they are washing dishes. I also would want to know why. I think she may of done that to get some alone time, just Ida B and her mother.

  8. Blogger,

For the book Ida B I would rate it as a 6 because I thought it was okay. But there are some other books I would choose over this one. Some the parts in the book I thought were sad like when they found out about her mom and some were kind of mean when she bullied Clarie and her brother and then Ida was just worried of what people would think of her action so why do mean stuff in the first place. Talk to you later ! from mm0104

  9. I would rate this book a 2. Every once in a while there would be an exciting part or a part in the book where it just made you want to read more, but overall I didn't like it all.

  10. jf,
I agree with you on your answer to the end of the book. I would answer that question by saying that if you hurt someone that you should say that you're sorry and that you should work your hardest to make things right again.

  11. If I could ask the author just one question, I would ask the author she was like Ida B when she was a little kid and if she hated going to school, and if she was related to someone with cancer. mm0104, what would you ask the author? You have been descriptive on your blogs and I want to hear your ideas.

The book tells a great moral.
the moral of the story is to "forgive and forget"you have to forget the bad stuff and think about the road ahead and not to take it out on anyone else.

  13. I thaught that the book wasn't my exact favorite. I'd give it a 4, there were not many good partrs to it like adventure it was mostly like a regular kid from a couple years back

  14. I would give the book a five, because it wasn't the best but it was OK. Like it was hard to understand sometimes because they were tell to many parts of the book at once.

  17. Dear Classmates,
My response to the end of the book is good. I think this because it ends kind of how it started. It's nice to see how Ida and her dad started to get along again. It got really tough for the two of them at one point. For some reason me and my dad have a really good relationship.

  18. MM0104, I thought that was sad too when they thought found out that Ida B's Mom had cancer because my uncle just found out he had cancer and they don't know if he is going to live because he has it in his lungs and he is working on a bunch of stuff right now just to keep his mined off of it.

  19. Dear cool classmates,
A question I have had for the author is how did she get the idea of having her mom have cancer? I thought it was maybe somebody she loved have it. Lifes troubles sometimes create the best ideas. You never know, she may have had breast cancer. I think it would be terrifying for a person that I love got cancer.

  20. Dear classmates,
I would rate the book a 4. I really didn't like the whole part of the mom getting cancer. It's just way to depressing. It also makes it kind of good as well by her making those signs. That was genius.

  21. Bk, I was wondering the same thing about the author like if her life was the same as Ida B's because that would be a good way to right a book off of her own life. I would do the same thing if I where her just fight a book on my life when I was younger, it would be very funny and me doing dumb things.

  22. Dear people,
I am responding to jo0123. I really never thought of the end of the book being a lesson. That is a very interesting thought. It actually is a lesson. I think it tells you to live everyday like it's your last, because it just may be.

  23. Dear Ida B Bloggers,
My response to the end of the book is that it was very touching and that the ending brought out the best of the book. Also that I think the author ended the book in a good way, but I think instead of taking his time to finish the book he kind of rushed it and made it a little less interesting. Overall though it was still a good book and I really enjoyed reading it.

  24. Dear Author,
The question I would have to ask the author would be what made you write about this particular thing and how did you keep adding on to this story.

  25. Dear Classmates,
I would rate this book about an eight because it's a very interesting book that digs deep into your heart and makes you keep wanting to read it. The reason it's not a ten is that it kind of makes you to sad and you don't want to read it anymore because it's to sad. I still think it was a good book!

  26. Dear ta1114,
I agree with you on how you think the book ends how it starts. I think it kind of reminds us that even if nothing in your life is good that there's always a tunnel that will eventually turn into good and you will be happy all over again.
